Anthony,
Outstanding, my friend! My singer/guitarist goes to Berklee, and my bassist will be attending soon (a former student there, as well). Learning how to groove with just a bassist is key for any drummer who wants to get better. Your MP3s are a great tool. this is an AWESOME tool for developing drummers! Groove #6 had me shaking my booty in my seat at work - NICE! Now let's just get like 400 of these in all sorts of styles, and rhythm sections everywhere will thank you! Again, great stuff!

Oh, these are going right on the mp3 player. You're awesome, man... this is just the stuff I need. Keep it coming - quality's great, downloads are fast, MP3 is great format, the grooves are awesome. Not a single complaint here.

Well I just went out to my studio and played with one of these tracks and I can say forget about making more complicated stuff, for me anyway, I recorded my session and realize now how hard it is to make the simple beat you have on the drum version. Timing is everything and making it sound like the track you have is very far away for me at this point. I would have posted some of the recording but my son needs to do some recording now and I need to practice more before I embarrass myself.

YES! I've never been so comfortable with 7/4 as I am now. I started off with a basic quarter note pattern, a la "Money" by Pink Floyd, and started adding accents and beat displacements until it was all funkified.
